If you’re living a full life, difficult times are bound to arise.

Having coping strategies at hand can make the difference as to how much you feel like you’re suffering from these unfortunate circumstances.

On this March 16th WSA-TV episode our experts shared advice on

how to cope with suffering,

featuring: Jaisa Sulit, Stephanie Dalfonzo, and Susan Marquez

Advice from our WSA Experts

We asked our featured guests to share some of their valuable wisdom with us.

Susan says “we only get one shot at this life. We need to stop spinning and settle down and be mindful of each moment, because once it’s passed, it’s gone forever. Enjoy each moment, soak in each detail of it and appreciate it for what it is.”

Stephanie reminds us that “YOU have the power to change your life. It doesn’t have to be hard, it doesn’t have to take a long time. You just need to have to courage to take a step and start.”

Jaisa suggests you “pair up with someone you’re comfortable with and take turns asking each other this same question over and over for at least 5 minutes each: “(name), how are you creating your own suffering?” After 10 minutes you will both have more clarity on where to make compassionate changes in your life.”
