Bio:
Sherry Hayes-Peirce is an internationally known speaker on social media, business writing, communications and emotional elements in the workplace. Like many of our WSA members Sherry took a sharp turn on her career path – to share her message as professional speaker. After nearly a decade as a television news journalist she set her sights on filling her calendar with speaking dates and forging alliances with public speaking companies. In four short years she has presented to nearly 10-thousand people on varied topics. She is regularly rated as excellent for her ability to connect with members of her audience, weaving experiential activities into the day and challenging them to implement a personal action plan. She believes that the key to success is setting goals in your mind and then writing them down – powerfully effective!

Change agent:

2014 ushers in a new challenge for the self-titled “Social Media Mobile Maven” who has been tapped to design a model for helping the nearly 200 Catholic Parishes engage the nearly 63-million members using social media.

Unique Message:

“Everything that happens to you in life has a reason, and my mission is to find a way to help others purpose their experiences so that they use them to benefit others”.

Why WSA:

I heard about the WSA from a former Woman you need to know – Viveka von Rosen! My hopes for joining this amazing organization were to connect with other powerful, driven and insightful women through its varied communication portals. As a regular follower of the WSA Facebook page I have gleaned valuable tips, tools and techniques for sharpening my speaking skills, managing my business and cultivated a support team of like-minded women. The best benefit of my membership was my free E-Speakers profile to “Get Seen”, an amazing value for someone like me who has a small budget for marketing.

WSA is very fortunate to have Sherry on our team as a Community Liaison managing our LinkedIn presence. Thank you Sherry for all you do!
