When I started my first business Google and YouTube didn’t exist. Everything I learned about starting and marketing a business came from learning, reading and making mistakes.
While I was heavily involved in the wedding industry as an award winning Videographer and Photographer I started writing a wedding planning book. Then I got the call that changed it all. A young mom was on the phone crying asking me to help her start her business so she didn’t have to leave her baby. As a mom myself my heart went out to her. I put on my cape and went into rescue mode doing what I had done for almost 25 years. Help others start and grow their business. That’s when the light bulb went off. The book I was supposed to write wasn’t a wedding planning book it was a book to empower other women to start a business. That book was “Sexy, Savvy and Successful: A Woman’s Guide On How To Start A Business, Gain Financial Freedom and Buy More Shoes!”
After writing that book women were asking me how they could get one on one help from me. To me it was clear that I needed to also package my knowledge and expertise and that’s when I started creating video courses on how to build a list, network, podcast and more.
Since then I’ve gone on to write: The Secret Equation To Attracting More Clients and 101 Ways To Kick Your Marketing Into High Gear For Free or Low Cost. parental guidance Now I have a membership site where I can teach and train anyone who wants to find the secrets to marketing success.
