Gail Watson shared the gift of slowing down to speed up. If you can resist shiny object syndrome, you’ll actually create extraordinary focused wins. And we’re celebrating 237 new and amazing Premier Members in 2017.

Sonja Jones -Even if you have a trying year, with hope, gratitude and love, things can turn around. With the support of WSA, she has even received the opportunity to be on a TV show with 25 million viewers.

Karolyn Boyd– She has learned about the speaking world and skills needed to get more visibility. She has benefited from the webinars, and the tools she’s received with WSA membership. Published book entitled “Food Freedom: How To Begin Your Path of Self-Mastery and Reverse Diabetes.” Her high risk tolerance allowed her to go for editing and publishing the book was a huge success. Lesson: Let go and have faith.

Marquesa Pettway – Let go of 100 pounds and got involved in a new and deeply loving relationship. Wisdom: Time can become your servant. She’s also celebrating a 5 figure multi-speaking gig with a major company. Plus, Women Speakers Association friendships and sisterhood made a huge difference for her and her success. Quote: “Sharing messages happens in community.”

Michelle Vann took on major training for Starwood and she ran for Senate in 2017. She met fantastic people and was offered a spot to do a segment on a radio show and will be co-hosting with her husband. Learned how to prioritize using “essentialism” and to make choices based upon what brings progress.

Lisa Danforth went from a starting out slow and then stepped into bigger game and applied to larger gigs. She was chosen to Keynote at the Vermont Association for Wedding Professionals in 2017. WSA has helped her step up with the eSpeaker profile and model after other members and let go of the struggles.

Kricket Harrison made 2017 her year to step out of the box. She gave us great lessons: 1-about the audience not about us. 2- get known for 1 thing. 3- show passion vs talking about it. Taking her own advice, she got bookings through September of 2018. Though she lives in Atlanta when she loves when she goes out to network and finds members of the WSA virtual global community locally.

Ashley Martin espouses that “You never know who’s watching you so always be on your P’s and Q’s.” She was invited to a panel and received the Houston’s Best Kept secret Award. Celebrating her second book “Refocus: Starting Over from the Inside Out.” She also resigned from education to pursue entrepreneurship. Major win was she got huge clarity on what kind of speaker she is. She owns that she is a content speaker who motivates and inspires. Lesson: it’s ok to make mistakes and learn from them. There is power in showing up. You never know who you’re going to meet and what valuable nuggets you will learn especially from Women Speakers Association.

Deb Coman had a great year of firsts. First paid speaking gig, first training on her own platform. Trusted her instincts and created a strategy from a place of service. Women Speakers Association supplies the support training and tools to step up. Took Melanie Benson’s advice and spent time on what’s working.

Laura Rubinstein revealed she plays a bigger game because of WSA. The community of people who care and call her to bring out her best and do it. Social Buzz Club has been relaunched with a new software. There’s so much wisdom in our community. Watch to hear all the expert advice from women leaders on #WSATV.
