About Kucki Low
Born in Austria, Kucki immigrated with her parents to Namibia in 1952. Both Kucki’s parents passed away by the time she was 18, and she then went to Germany to become a professional photographer.
In 1969, she returned to Namibia, went up to do a photo shoot in a small plane and fell madly in love with flying. She became a flight instructor and in 1974 became South Africa’s first female airline pilot! Her book “This Is Kucki Your Pilot Speaking“ came out in 2011 and catapulted her into a speaking career and is currently in development to become a feature film.
