Ways to Mine Your Leadership Gold

Even though you’re a high-achieving woman, it doesn’t mean that you don’t struggle with stress, trauma, and visibility. Reaching your potential for peace, healing and prominence is attainable with a few strategies to mine for your leadership gold personally and professionally.

First, you must get over any feelings that you “shouldn’t” have stress. To that end, you must accept that you are human. You’ll be a much more powerful leader that way. If you can accept your humanity, you will go further, be more relatable and have a greater sense of fulfillment.

Don’t believe that? Our Premier experts in this episode of the Premier Women’s Show share their advice on how to step into your leadership fully whether you’ve experienced trauma, are overwhelmed or are unclear how to present yourself online.

Featuring Stephanie Olson, Holly Erin Copeland, & Mildred Talabi.

Our experts share their advice for women leaders and speakers:

Stephanie asks “So what does it mean to turn your trauma into triumph? First, you have to address your trauma, acknowledge it, and embrace it. That sounds odd, but I often hear “Don’t trigger me because I don’t want to deal with my trauma.” But experiencing an action that triggers your trauma, is actually a very healthy thing, because that means that you recognize your trauma and you can address it. That is the beginning of the healing process. And then we can use that trauma and become incredible leaders through it. When you learn to channel your trauma in a healthy way, it can activate your leadership and help you teach your team. That’s when people will look at you and say that’s the leader that I want to follow.”

Holly shares “In my journey, I discovered something of a miracle. There is an ancient direct path to access a peaceful and happy mind. You actually don’t need to meditate for 1500 hours. This miracle is a kind of waking up into your own awareness and who you truly are. The process of accessing awareness and living from there is not complicated, but it requires shifting out of an ordinary thought-based and conceptual way of knowing the world. Perhaps you’ve never understood this before, but you don’t need to think to know the world.”

Mildred shares “If you want to establish a strong personal brand on LinkedIn, here are my top 3 tips:
1) Be known for something; 2) Have an opinion; 3) Be consistently visible
Without these three, you won’t make a lasting impression on your audience.”
