Tend to your story and your voice and grow personally and professionally.

You may not have considered what “your voice” is or means. As a person what you say is not just the sound coming out of your mouth. Additionally, the things that happen in your life and in the lives of those around you whether they are clients, colleagues or cousins are important. Using these stories you can create better relationships, heal wounds and grow businesses. Want to know how?

On this April 19th WSA-TV episode our Premier Women Speakers reveal their insights and wisdom on how to use your voice and your stories to enrich life, develop as a leader and grow business naturally.

Featuring: Debbie Hoffman, Angela L. Todd & Lavinia Marshall

Advice from our WSA Experts

We asked our featured guests to share some of their valuable wisdom with us.

Debbie reminds us that “Client testimonials are great stories that can draw new prospects in and create relationships with you. To get more referrals create language to give your clients or referral partners on exactly what you want them to say when referring people to them.”

Angela shares “The biggest mistake people make with their stories — or peers’, or elders’ — is hesitating, not making time until it is too late. Start today: casually by asking an elder about their past, or with more purpose writing an untold story of your own. Personal history is healing, serves as outreach, honors others, and makes a more thorough historical record.”

Lavinia says “If you do not have vision you don’t know where you are going, merely wanderign around. And there is value in your voice. Your voice is a sound, but it is more than a sound it is the very essence of your being which is important and needed in the earth. ”
