Women know how to be productive, but being profitable is not an inevitable outcome.

In other words, when you’re busy but not productive, you’re not profitable. That being said, when you’re productive, you’re not always profitable. Running a business, managing a family, and having great relationships is a complex ever changing landscape and requires a few key elements to pull off and feel great about it.

Most of us want to feel not only productive, but also personally fulfilled. And that personal fulfillment is usually accompanied with (when you’re operating a business) a profitable outcome. Not always. But let’s say you want to increase your productivity, profitability, and personal fulfillment. Wouldn’t that be a perfect trifecta?

On this February 7th WSA-TV Premier Show episode our experts share how they have reached that perfect trifecta and you can too!

Featuring: Danielle C. Lara, Cathy Sexton & DeDee Cai

Advice from our WSA Experts

We asked our featured guests to share some of their valuable wisdom with us.

Danielle says “One tip that I would recommend to organizations looking to improve their workplace culture, is to listen first — commit to listening to the input and feedback of their customers, clients, employees, management teams, support staff, in addition to performance data and KPIs, as a way to better understand their organization from a holistic perspective. I have found that when organizations listen with a curiosity to understand, they are more aware of who they are and what they want to accomplish, more objective of what is going well in their organization, and more creative when developing solutions to address workplace challenges. This awareness then allows them to take the next big step in their business.”

Cathy recommends that “First: know what your top 3-5 values are, let them guide you in all your decision making. Second: understand what your “Natural Productivity Style” really is and embrace it. (It’s not what you should do it’s what you will do) Three: self-care is first step to success.”

DeDee asks us to “Take action, not matter how small. A small step towards the right direction will create a momentum.”
