Build the Foundation for Healing and Your Authentic Power

When you want to be your best and create results personally like joy and fulfillment, connect with an audience or heal cultural differences in a globalized world you need to start with the power of connection to create new realities. When you can connect internally and externally you have great power to affect results. It takes a variety of skills to effectively connect and cause change. In addition, if you want to build connections with others in an audience or of another culture you also need specialized knowledge.

As such, when you build your skills in this area, you will transform lives (including your own) and bring forth the change our world deeply needs.

On this May 12, 2022 WSA-TV Premier Show episode our Premier Members share the knowledge, skills needed, and insights on how to transform.

Featuring: Sharon Plaché, Dana L Laquidara & Carol Pilkington

Our experts share their advice for women leaders and speakers:

Sharon shares “The power of self-regulation is when our whole being is aligned and present. This means having all three intelligence centers in ourselves integrated. When 1. our bodies are fully felt, connected and grounded; 2. our thinking and brain is clear and 3. we speak, act and connect from our hearts. A simple practice is to put one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly – breathing in and out of the heart until you feel the coherence of the two. Then move the belly hand to the head and breath in an out of the heart until you feel the coherence. Then end with both hands on you heart – feeling centered and grounded to respond to life’s next step.”

Dana shares “”Identify your top three or four priorities and say no to everything that does not align with those priorities. Part of being an adult and a parent is knowing we cannot do everything. Success in anything- including relationships- requires that we focus on those areas and people. When our energy is scattered and diluted by ‘too muchness’, we stress more than thrive.
OLD – If you are a targeted/alienated parent, do not ever give up on reconnecting with your child. Even if they cannot express it, they love you are need you to be strong and healthy and to keep reaching out to them. For anyone who knows a child alienated from one parent, do not assume that parent has abandoned them. “”

Carol shares “The first is being aware that something needs to be addressed, 2nd, be honest about the affects it is having on you and possibly those around you and third, take the steps necessary to work on it. One of my favorite quotes is from Carl Jung: “Until we make the unconscious conscious it will direct your life and you will call it fate.” All too often one may feel resigned to be a certain way forever. And that just isn’t the case.”
