In middle school I learned that nebulas are nurseries for baby stars, galaxies, and planets. Their gigantic spinning collection of space particles and chemical gases combine with creation vibration or what I call glow power, to give shape to the expanding universe. A nebula often looks like the iris of ones eye. Scientists say about a teaspoon of that gas and cosmic matter that made up the first stars in the galaxy lives within each of us today. So our eyes must be twinkling reflections starlight and we are made of stardust.

That divine dance of cosmic energies animates the living energy universe. Our job is about taking that cosmic dance inward, aligning with your internal galaxy and being attuned to your own divine glow. I used to be afraid of the dark, and then I learned first hand that darkness is critical for personal growth- all things grow in the dark. Light is spawned of darkness like stars, and creative energy is born from the womb of the damp dark and divine. Whatever you are birthing passes through the portal of the divine to come here it passes through the sacred passageway into the light. Darkness is good because it allows cultivation to take place.

GLOW to me is more than something you possess or carry, it is an actual vibration that you emanate. The journey is about finding your own creative edge and moving from that place of darkness into your glow power. So you must trust that there is a holy gift within you and seek to let the light shine through. In order to maximize your glow power you have to be willing to be great. Rev. Michael Beckwith says, “You are a fully franchised expression of the infinite.” You must be willing to be great in your expression of love, creativity, and character- the etch of God on your soul.

Ask yourself these three questions:

What is trying to emerge in me at a soul level?

How can I share my glow today?

What makes me want to get up, what truly inspires me?

If we can connect to that creative center, listen, feed it, nurture it, we can grow in our selves something bigger than ourselves and offer it up to the world. We create from the unseen, from the realm of the divine. The birth of my son sparked a revelation that I was supposed to support other mothers along their journey into motherhood and that inspired the work I am called to do today with Mama Glow.

There is an ethereal glow that I’m talking about that is maintained when we are in constant revelry of the divine source of creative energy that flows through us. What is your unique gift to the world? How can you release fear, doubt, worry, and dial up love, joy, and faith that what’s inside of you is more than good enough to be expressed through you. We all have glow power and it wants to shine. What will you allow to be born through you? The shift happens in darkness with a thought and that thought like a baby star is cultivated in darkness and born in full force as twinkling light that will shine upon the world.
